Role Overview
As an Accountant at ESR you are responsible for supporting the financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities across ESR’s ANZ portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supports the Finance team in delivering timely reporting, insights, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

External auditors and tax advisors
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries
Contribute to process improvements within finance operations
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CA/CPA part-qualified (or working towards)
2–4 years’ accounting experience, ideally within property, funds, or real assets
Strong understanding of financial reporting principles
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
