Strategy Associate, Tenders and Proposals

As a Strategy Associate, Tenders & Proposals, you'll help Via its impact across the DACH region by supporting the proposal and tender processes that enable new partnerships with public transit providers. Working within our Strategy Team, you'll keep documentation, tender pipelines, and submission processes organized and running smoothly, helping our team win the opportunities that create lasting impact for the communities we serve.
This is a hybrid role based in Berlin.
About the Role:
Scout tender opportunities across Europe, evaluating and translating relevant tenders and helping shape which opportunities Via decides to pursue.
Drive the internal review process for new tenders, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to turn a "should we pursue this?" into a clear, well-informed decision.
Lead proposal kickoffs, align stakeholders, and keep every workstream on track through submission.
Project manage end-to-end proposal submissions, coordinating across Solutions Engineering, Legal, and Finance to pull together documentation, translations, approvals, and signatures under real deadlines.
Own and maintain Via's administrative document library, ensuring critical documents remain current and readily accessible.
Own communications through tender portals during the bidding process, helping craft and distribute responses to bidder questions that strengthen Via's position.
Build and maintain a live overview of Via's partnerships and project history, ensuring teams have an accurate, up-to-date picture of every relationship.
About You:
At least 2 years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
A track record of juggling multiple moving parts and deadlines You're naturally organized and detail-oriented - the kind of person who spots the missing piece before anyone else notices.
You're a confident communicator who's comfortable chasing input and coordinating across teams, even when it means following up more than once
You thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy bringing structure to complexity.
Fully fluent in German and English - close to native or bilingual level in German is a must.
