What is the focus of the role?

As a Project Delivery Specialist, your primary focus will be to support and enable the implementation of Telstra business products and solutions for medium and business plus customers. This role is crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships, which in turn helps grow both TBTC and Telstra's revenue across business customer portfolios.

About the team

The Telstra Business Technology Centre (TBTC) provides Communications and ICT solutions to small and medium Telstra business customers. The TBTC network is part of a fully branded Telstra channel designed to provide professional services to support business customers in integrating tailored tech solutions. This allows customers to spend less time troubleshooting tech and more time focusing on their business.

About the role

As a Project Delivery Specialist at TBTC, you will support and enable the implementation of Telstra business products and solutions with medium and business plus customers. This role is critical to maintaining strong customer relationships that grow both TBTC and Telstra's revenue across business customer portfolios. Your ability to listen to and deeply understand customers, combined with exceptional technical and project management skills, will ensure you support business customers in finding the best ICT solutions to achieve their business goals. You will always put the customer first and support the pillars of Customer Obsession, Brilliant People and Partnerships, Responsible Growth and Returns, and Execution Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project managing a range of service, product, and solution implementations for premium business customers across the TBTC region.

Working both in the Centre and possibly on-site at customer premises.

Supporting sales and operations teams by managing complex customer projects against strict timelines and SLAs.

Identifying and managing risks that could impact the customer when managing specific projects.

Actively seeking feedback from customers to enhance their experience.

Identifying and referring further sales opportunities to the Sales Manager gathered during customer interactions.

Managing multiple platforms and systems to ensure all products and solutions are configured and activated correctly with minimal impact to the customer.

Responding to all project-related customer queries and escalating any complaints and leads to the leadership team as required.

Ensuring timely remediation and positive customer experiences for premium customers.

Collaborating authentically with peers, team members, and key stakeholders across the TBTC channel to support exceptional customer experience when delivering products, solutions, and services.

Understanding complex ICT solutions to provide premium customers with the most suitable product or service.

Participating in customer initiatives such as developing and maintaining relevant account and portfolio plans that support ongoing relationship development and contribute to the achievement of financial and customer targets (revenue, profitability, NPS) & exceptional customer data quality.

Meeting individual contribution and team sales and performance KPIs.

Continuing to upskill and develop capability and knowledge across Telstra's portfolio of products and business solutions.

Identifying areas of improvement and actively embracing change and technology to better support business customers.

About you

Minimum 3 years in an ICT or Telco environment in an operations, support, or project manager role.

Understanding of business plus and Telstra SMB customers.

Strong understanding of complex ICT problems and solution strategies.

Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.

Strong 02A experience.

Demonstrated commitment to relationship building and working in partnership with key stakeholders.

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, engagement, and presentation skills who can present to executives.

Strong project management skills.

Comfortable building and managing project plans and committing to timelines.

Strategic thinker who can adapt to change.

Able to make an impact on TBTC's performance and team engagement and culture.

Show initiative, embrace, and adopt new technology and methodologies that can positively impact customer experience.

Experience implementing Cisco, Microsoft, and Checkpoint products and solution
