Online is one of Flatpay's newest and most strategic engineering domains. We're building the products and platforms that enable merchants to accept payments online and grow their businesses in the digital economy. As a Software Engineer, you'll help build and launch new products, contribute to technical discussions and decisions, and scale solutions as adoption grows across new markets.

This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage. While Flatpay already serves merchants at scale, our online platform is still in its early stages. You'll have the opportunity to help launch new solutions, shape how the platform evolves as adoption grows, and learn directly from customers along the way.

If you enjoy building products from the ground up, working close to customers, and seeing your work evolve from first launch to large-scale adoption, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a domain that will play an important role in Flatpay's future growth.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for online commerce and payments

Build new merchant- and customer-facing features, APIs, and services

Take ownership of features from design and implementation through deployment and maintenance

Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systems

Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver customer value

Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions

Contribute to testing, deployment, and operational excellence

Work closely with other engineering teams across Flatpay to build integrated solutions

Help improve engineering practices, tooling, and development workflows

Who you are

3-6 years of professional software engineering experience

Experience building and operating production systems

Comfortable working across modern backend and cloud technologies

Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals

Curious, pragmatic, and eager to learn

Enjoy taking ownership and solving real customer problems

Experience with payments, e-commerce, SaaS platforms, or fintech is a plus
