You possess the expertise to perform complex (journey level) UI administrative and policy analysis work. You are committed to excellence in program assessment and operational support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Monitor and review current UI organizational, procedural or operational systems for effectiveness, efficiency and conformance to established guidelines.
Consult with management to initiate studies; identify priorities; and define study scope, purpose, objectives, time frames and resource requirements.
Develop recommendations for improvement and corrective action to standardize or improve UI organizational systems.
Research historical, current or projected data to identify problems, causes, and areas for which procedural or system changes are indicated.
Conduct and manage special projects.
Analyze new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine their effect on program operations and management.
Research new or improved business and management practices for application to UI programs or operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
Initiate, manage and/or support UI Administration and Operational Support projects.
Handle high-priority UI program issues.
Prepare concise reports on organizational studies or data analysis projects.
Represent the UI Division in departmental meetings and projects.
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
One year of experience in management analysis, organizational development, or methods and systems work.
Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
Project Management Expertise: A proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
UI Program Knowledge: A solid understanding of Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefit programs and policies.
Analytical Aptitude: The ability to research, correlate, and analyze complex data to identify trends and drive decision-making.
Strategic Problem Solving: A knack for identifying operational bottlenecks and devising creative, effective solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to manage data and present findings.
Process Improvement Mindset: Experience evaluating workflows and implementing "lean" or more efficient procedures.
Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and presentation skills, with experience drafting high-level reports and memos for leadership.
