Technical Executive (Building)

[What the role is]

You will be part of the team overseeing building works across architectural, structural, and M&E aspects. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full construction cycle, from in-progress site checks to final handover inspections, ensuring that completed flats meet HDB's quality standards.

[What you will be working on]

You will be trained on good construction practices, work procedures, and quality standards to build a strong foundation in construction management.

You will conduct in-process quality, site safety, and housekeeping checks to ensure compliance with specifications and safety requirements.

You will carry out handover inspections for newly completed flats and final inspections to verify workmanship before properties are taken over.

You will handle post-construction feedback and manage improvement works arising from these.

[What we are looking for]

A background in Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.

Meticulous and able to work independently, with an eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership.

A pleasant disposition and strong communication skills to work effectively with contractors, colleagues, and residents.

The successful candidate will be offered a 1+1 year contract. Subject to the department's needs and the individual's performance, there may be opportunities for contract renewal or conversion to a permanent position.
