About Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill
The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is located on the central city fringe, just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane River, Suncorp Stadium and public transport. Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar.
Job Description
Join our Finance team as a Finance Officer and play a key role in supporting the smooth and accurate operation of our hotel’s financial functions. This diverse role will provide exposure across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, credit management, reconciliations and general cashiering, ensuring strong financial controls while supporting our teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
Certificate, Diploma or degree studies in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline (desirable)
Previous administration, finance or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential
Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
A willingness to learn, grow and develop within a supportive Finance team
Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
