About the role

tl;dr

After 14 years in construction tech, Lea & Jonas are building the intelligence layer for the construction industry.

The largest construction enterprises in Europe - with a combined project volume of over €30bn annually - rely on Kuro every day to automate workflows and make faster, better decisions.

Construction has the most complex, unstructured data you can throw at an LLM - PDFs, drawings, 3D models, images, calculations. At Kuro you can tackle the hardest applied AI problems everyday.

About us

Lea and Jonas scaled two of Europe's leading construction tech companies - Capmo and alcemy - and saw firsthand the challenges holding the industry back. Now they're tackling the root cause: the 50% of construction work still lost to manual data handling.

Kuro is the intelligent project data system for construction. We're reimagining how construction professionals get work done and make decisions by leveraging AI to augment back-office workflows and make core data accessible.

After one year on the market leading construction enterprises with a combined construction volume >30 billion annually use Kuro everyday to automate workflows and make faster, better decisions.

We are 16 people based in Berlin. You will join a group of ex-technical founders and builders that are ambitious and kind.

The Opportunity

As Senior Product Manager, you'll work on the platform at the heart of Kuro's product, building the foundational capabilities that enable our teams to deliver faster and scale with confidence. You'll help defining the strategy and execution, from the data domain model, project graphs, and ontologies to workflow abstractions and essential services such as permissions, document versioning, lineage, and collaboration.

Working closely with the Co-Founder & CPO, platform engineering, design, and our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), you'll ensure every investment accelerates the development of future use cases, making the platform more extensible, scalable, and powerful with every release.

What You'll Do

Be an active voice in roadmap creation, balancing immediate platform needs with long-term strategic investments.

Lead strategic initiatives to capture key decisions across the project lifecycle and evolve Kuro's scalable data domain model.

Define success metrics, use production data to iterate on platform capabilities, and communicate releases across the organization.

Make informed decisions on prioritization, scope, and sequencing, partnering with leadership on major architectural and new product bets.

Discover opportunities with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and translate complex operational challenges into clear product requirements.

Your profile

5+ years of product management experience building technical products, such as AI, automation, developer tooling, or enterprise software.

Proven experience shipping data platform products, APIs, or graph- and ontology-based systems.

Strong understanding of how LLM-powered products behave in production and the challenges of building AI-native products.

Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and balancing short-term needs with long-term platform investments.

Passion for understanding users' day-to-day workflows and a willingness to become a domain expert in the construction industry.

Fluent in German, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Bonus:

Familiarity with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or workflow abstraction frameworks.

Founder experience or experience building products in an early-stage startup.

Experience in construction technology (ConTech), AEC software, or a related industry.
