Senior Analyst, Finance

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key hands-on role in budgeting and forecasting, M&A financial analysis, performance reporting, and strategic projects. This is a high-visibility position that partners closely with leadership and provides meaningful exposure to private equity-backed operations, M&A activity, and executive-level reporting. What you will do:

Financial Planning & Budgeting

Support the annual budgeting process in close partnership with the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, and CFO.

Maintain and update the annual forecast model on a periodic basis, incorporating actuals and revised assumptions.

Prepare budget/forecast versus actual analyses with clear commentary on key drivers and trends.

M&A Support

Support pro forma M&A financial modeling, including utilization rates, overhead rate analysis, and integration assumptions.

Track and report on financial performance of acquired companies post-close, supporting integration activities as needed.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting

Prepare accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Company's financial sponsor.

Analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variance trends, risks, and opportunities.

Partner with department and functional leaders to provide real-time visibility into overhead and operating expenses.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enhance decision-making across the organization.

Strategic Projects

Support high-priority finance initiatives, which may include:

Overhead rate tracking, projections, and optimization analysis.

Cost savings identification and monitoring.

Acquisition integration synergy tracking and cross-sell opportunity analysis.

Ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive and sponsor requests.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems.

Support automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Document processes and build scalable reporting templates to support the growing finance function.

What you will bring:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.

Experience:

5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.

Strong financial modeling skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses/Certifications:

CPA or CMA a plus.

Software:

Proficiency in ERP systems and financial planning tools; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint a plus.

Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.

Proficiency with A.I. tools preferred.
