Job Description

DUTIES : Lead the overall execution of ADHESIVES for joints, throughout the Global Powertrain Development Process (GPDP). Work cross-functionally with various areas such as Design, VDDV, Purchasing, Validation, and Manufacturing, within the Product Development Team (PDT) as PDT. Ensure program technical and timing requirements are achieved. Demonstrate that designs meet requirements through VDDV, development, and validation processes. Define hardware and budget requirements for experimental build programs. Lead warranty issue resolution and cost/quality improvements with suppliers and in-house manufacturing. Support the read-across and creation of new Best Practices/ Lessons Learned. Hybrid Work Policy – 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, or related occupation. OR Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Automotive ADHESIVES development or release; Product Engineering tools and processes; Reading schematic diagrams; Cross-functional experience in Calibration, Manufacturing, Validation, and VDDV; and Chemical composition knowledge.
