About the role

ABOUT BEZOS ACADEMY

At Bezos Academy, we believe all children deserve the great start that excellent early education provides, including in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to nurture the potential in every child to become a creative leader, original thinker, and lifelong learner by inventing the solutions needed to scale early childhood education. We are a unique organization that realizes our mission in two ways. First, we operate a multi-state network of schools in under-resourced communities, offering quality Montessori-inspired preschool at no cost to families. Second, we create tools, products, technology, and other solutions designed to reach young children and their caregivers well beyond the walls of our schools. We aspire to have a profound, large-scale impact on children ages zero to five.

You will use your experience to design and implement cloud-based technology solutions that empower our organization to grow exponentially. You will work to integrate engineering best practices at every level, with a constant focus on data security, scalability, and supportability. Your passion for modern cloud infrastructure and scalable technology design will be critical to your success.

You will be part of a small but growing team that operates at all levels, from strategic design to operations support. You will lay the groundwork for the organization not only in technology but in IT policy and team culture. Your broad experience across multiple technologies and your appetite for learning and discovery will be foundational to your success. Your customer-centric approach to your work will be paramount. Above all, you are motivated by our mission to access to high-quality preschool in underserved areas and eager to support us as we scale.
