The Max-Born-Institute invites applications for a

Administrator of third-party funds / Financial Assistant (part-time)

For the preparation and administrative support of EU-funded research projects we are looking for an administrator of third-party funds / financial assistant to start as soon as possible.

Tasks:

Financial management for the administration of third-party funds for EU projects, in par-ticular project monitoring and financial management,

Travel cost reimbursements,

Monitoring compliance with funding regulations,

Preparation of financial statements and reports on expenditure, preparation of project re-views and audits,

Communication in English and administrative "help-desk " for the project partners, prep-aration of information.

Requirements:

You have a completed bachelor's degree or vocational training in the commercial field with sev-eral years of professional experience in the finance or third-party funding sector. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the administration and accounting of third-party funded projects (in particular by the EU), proficient use of IT tools (MS-Office, especially Excel, SAP), English language skills (B2 or equivalent), good mathematical understanding, high attention to detail and accuracy, communication skills, service orientation, organisational strength.

The role can be filled on a part-time basis (50% with the option of increasing working hours) and is initially limited to two years. Remuneration is offered up to pay grade 9c TVöD Bund, provided that the relevant personal requirements, qualifications, and experience levels are met.
