Tool Crib Attendant (Heavy Equipment Shop)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week
Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB - no direct access to public transportation
Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions
Requirements:
Personal Reliable Vehicle
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Pre-employment:
Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
Fitness to Work Assessment
Mask Fit Testing
Tool Crib Attendant Responsibilities:
Overlook inventory of tools, perform inspection of tools and equipment to ensure items are in working order
Load and unload materials and equipment and ensure to perform inspection of all incoming materials and tools
Maintain clear records of tools and equipment usage with the designed tracking system
Track all PPE and equipment issued for costing purposes
Identify tools and equipment using identification tags
Escalate any identified material and tool discrepancies to the Parts Manager
Responsible for keeping the crib area secure at all times
Ensure the work environment it kept clean and organized.
Prepare requisitions to replenish low inventory
Ensuring the proper handling, sorting and preparation of tools for work

Tool Crib Attendant Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience as a Tool Crib Attendant
Familiarity with Toolhound is considered an asset.
Must have experience working with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Experience working with Heavy Equipment is considered an asset.
