Full-Stack Engineer - AI & Internal Tools (Lovable)
About us
SKO Compounds is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer peptide brand in West Hollywood. We ship thousands of orders a month, and - unusually - we run the entire operation on software we built ourselves. We're a 15-person team; you'll report directly to the founders. We are on pace to do $10,000,000-$12,000,000 this year. We are growing extremely quickly and looking to have a really solid dev on our term that can help us grow quickly and solidify our software.
The role
Two production systems built on Lovable run this company: Pack Master, our warehouse management system, and our customer storefront. Your job is to maintain them, improve them, and build what comes next.
This is a hands-on build role. You'll live in Lovable day to day, but you also need real engineering underneath it - when something breaks below the no-code layer, or a feature needs custom logic, you're the one who solves it. You'll work directly with the founders on what to build, then go build it.
It starts as a solo seat owning all of it, with the runway to grow into a small tech team as we scale.
What we're looking for
Real, hands-on Lovable experience. You've shipped production apps on Lovable - not toys, not tutorials. This is non-negotiable, and it's the first thing we'll check.
Genuine full-stack engineering. Lovable gets you far, but you can code beyond it - custom logic, integrations, database work, debugging what the no-code layer can't. Both are required.
Deeply AI-fluent. You build with AI every day - it's core to how you work, not a novelty. You know how to get real output from these tools, fast.
You can own a live system. These apps are in production and the business depends on them. You're careful, you test, and you don't break the thing that ships our orders.
Builder mentality. You take a vague need from a founder and turn it into a working feature without a spec handed to you.
Room to lead. This starts solo, but we're looking for someone who can grow into leading a small technical team.
Compensation: $120,000–$180,000/year, depending on experience. Please don't apply without real Lovable and full-stack experience - it's the first thing we screen for.
Location: On-site, West Hollywood. Full-time.
This role may be a fit if you've worked as a full-stack engineer, software engineer, product engineer, no-code/low-code developer, or founding engineer in a startup or DTC environment.
