Job Description: Purchase Engineer

Position: Purchase Engineer Experience: 2-4 Years Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Location: Pune

Salary - 25,000 to 35,000 per month (depending upon experience and skills)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Handle procurement of mechanical, electrical, and civil-related materials required for project execution.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and timely material delivery.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure quality materials are supplied as per specifications.

Verify quantity, quality, and compliance with approved standards.

Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery status, inspection reports, and vendor documents.

Support QA/QC activities related to mechanical equipment, piping, structures, and basic civil works.

Coordinate with site engineers and vendors for resolving service/quality-related issues.

Ensure proper documentation for material approvals, test certificates, and inspection reports.

Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of procurement and vendor management

Understanding of QA/QC procedures for mechanical and basic civil works

Ability to read drawings and technical specifications

Good communication and coordination skills

Willingness to travel to project sites if required

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Exposure to industrial projects, EPC projects, or CBG/biogas plants will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
