About the role
Role Purpose
The Manager – Human Resources (HR Business Partner) will act as the strategic partner to business leaders by implementing people strategies that support organizational goals. The role is responsible for driving performance management, employee engagement, learning & development, policy implementation, organizational development, employee relations, and HR analytics while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The role also serves as the first line of leadership for the HR team and provides operational guidance to HR Executives.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. HR Business Partnering
Partner with department heads to understand workforce requirements.
Provide HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
Support manpower planning and workforce optimization.
Advise managers on employee-related matters.
B. Performance Management
Implement and manage the Performance Management System (PMS).
Coordinate goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
Monitor completion and quality of performance reviews.
Coach managers on performance discussions.
C. Learning & Development
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
Develop annual training calendar.
Coordinate internal and external training programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness.
D. Employee Engagement
Design and execute employee engagement initiatives.
Conduct employee feedback surveys.
Support employee recognition programs.
Promote a positive work culture.
E. Employee Relations
Address employee grievances.
Support disciplinary processes.
Facilitate conflict resolution.
Build healthy employee-manager relationships.
F. HR Policies & Organizational Development
Develop and review HR policies and SOPs.
Support organization restructuring initiatives.
Drive change management programs.
Promote organizational values and culture.
G. HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare monthly HR dashboards.
Analyze attrition, absenteeism, hiring, and productivity trends.
Present actionable insights to management.
H. Team Leadership
Guide and mentor HR Executives.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration within the HR team.
Build capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Decision-Making Authority
Recommend HR initiatives and process improvements.
Approve routine HR activities within delegated authority.
Recommend employee development plans.
Escalate strategic and policy matters to the Group HR Head.

Qualification
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Experience
6–12 years in Human Resources
Experience in HRBP, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and HR Operations
Healthcare, Diagnostics, Hospitals, Manufacturing, or Service industries preferred
