Quality Manager for CNC Machine shop
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components,
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to verify dimensional and quality requirements.
Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, and Thread Gauges.
Identify quality issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), rejection reports, and rework records.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and company procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, and to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
Evaluate supplier quality through incoming material inspections, supplier audits, and vendor performance monitoring.
Maintain calibration records and ensure all measuring instruments are calibrated and traceable.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Working experience in CMM PC -DMIS is a plus
Documentation knowledge is mandatory
Experience in conducting internal and external audits is a plus
Key Requirements Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
