Kickstart Media is a fast growing digital marketing agency that blends the art of storytelling with the science of performance driven marketing. We work with brands to create impactful digital experiences across social media, content, and creative campaigns. As we continue to scale, we are strengthening our internal operations and are looking for a dedicated HR Executive who can independently manage end to end HR responsibilities and support a dynamic agency environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and people focused HR Executive with 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably within a social media, digital marketing, or creative agency. This role will handle the complete HR lifecycle including recruitment, employee engagement, performance support, HR operations, and compliance. The position plays a key role in building a positive workplace culture and supporting the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

Manage the complete recruitment cycle including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offer coordination, and onboarding

Hire for agency specific roles such as Social Media Managers, Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Copywriters, and Performance Marketers

Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new joiners

Employee Relations

Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and HR communication

Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution

Performance Management

Support the execution of performance appraisal cycles

Coordinate with managers on goal setting, feedback, performance improvement, and employee development

HR Administration

Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR trackers with confidentiality

Manage attendance, leave records, and internal HR processes

Assist with exits, full and final settlements, and employee documentation

Policy Development and Compliance

Support drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies and SOPs

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws

Maintain HR compliance records and support audits if required

Training and Development

Identify training and development needs relevant to agency roles

Coordinate internal learning initiatives and support continuous employee development

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year to 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a social media, digital marketing, or creative agency

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Good understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and statutory compliance

Knowledge of labor laws and HR documentation standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity

Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast paced environment

Preferred

Prior experience in a social media or digital marketing agency

Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods
