About the role
Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally, ERP, or accounting software.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Prepare and process invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Handle petty cash and monitor cash flow.
Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding outstanding payments.
Maintain purchase bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
Prepare GST data and assist in GST return filing.
Assist in TDS calculations and statutory compliance.
Support payroll processing and salary payments.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Assist during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Prepare MIS reports for management.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
Perform other accounts and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
1–5 years of experience in accounting (preferred).
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
