What You’ll Work On

You will provide broad HR support across employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement. Work closely with employees and managers to provide practical advice, interpret policies and ensure HR practices align with Canadian legislation and organizational objectives. You’ll also:

Support performance management and coach managers through challenging conversations

Conduct fair and confidential workplace investigations

Manage benefits and complex leave cases, including STD, LTD and workers’ compensation

Support health, safety, wellness, learning and engagement initiatives

Support change management, culture and inclusion initiatives

Monitor employment legislation and regulatory changes

Analyse HR metrics, including turnover, engagement and workforce demographics

Occasionally travel to other offices, meetings or professional development events

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you have:

3-6 years of HR experience

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

Strong knowledge of Canadian employment standards, human rights and health and safety legislation

Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations

Knowledge of benefits, disability management, and employee leave processes

Strong judgement, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills

Experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
