JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic server to provide an exceptional and memorable dining experience for our guests. We believe great service starts with genuine connection and our team takes pride in creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience where every detail matters. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide exceptional service, knowledgeably sell and up-sell mocktails, cocktails, wine and craft beer

Perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at end of shift

Serve guests in a prompt, attentive, professional and courteous manner within the seating limits to ensure proper table flips for the next reservation

Provide the ultimate guest experience, get to know your guests and create an environment that they want to experience again

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and wait stations

Polish glassware, wine glasses and cutlery to the required standard

Create the proper ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant and adjust as the evening progresses

Knowledgeably recommend wine and drink pairings to the food menu for the guests

Support other service team members

Other duties as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position reports directly to the Manager, Full-Service Dining & Banquets and does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

Serving It Right Certificate required

Experience serving in a high-volume restaurant environment

Possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with all team members

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Personable, friendly and outgoing

High energy and strong work ethic

WORKING CONDITIONS

Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$18.25/hour + gratuities
