About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow with the ever growing industrial construction industry. This role is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving profitability, managing client relationships, and supporting estimating and project execution.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial scaffolding, material management, site services, estimating, and operations management, with additional experience in other industrial services considered a major asset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day business operations for the scaffolding division

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion

Oversee and support estimating activities including bid preparation, cost analysis, and proposal development

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Monitor project performance, ensuring cost control, schedule adherence, and quality standards

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure successful execution

Identify new business opportunities within scaffolding and related industrial services

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the division

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Support recruitment, development, and performance management of staff

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in scaffolding, industrial construction, or related field

Proven experience in a business management, operations, or leadership role

Strong background in estimating scaffolding projects(industrial preferred)

Experience with industrial services such as insulation, painting, fireproofing, or maintenance is a strong asset

Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgets, and business growth

Strong understanding of job costing, margins, and bid strategy

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand industrial environment
