EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. is a subsidiary of JVCKENWOOD Corporation, a leading provider of P25 communications solutions for first responders in public safety and public service, the federal government, and industrial organizations. Our products are marketed under the EFJohnson and KENWOOD brands.
EFJohnson provides wireless communications products and systems for public safety, commercial, and government customers. We design, manufacture, and market conventional and trunked radio systems, land mobile radio repeaters, and mobile and portable radios, including Project 25 digital radio products.

This role is hybrid and must be located in the DFW metroplex.
Key Responsibilities:
Directs, manages, and plans staffing and recruitment programs to assure highly qualified, skilled, and talented staff is recruited for all EFJohnson and JVCKENWOOD USA locations. To comply with governmental regulations and corporate policies in the employment process.
Interfaces with all EFJohnson employees in all departments and exhibit desirable and appropriate managerial/supervisory behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, industriousness, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking, and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals.
Directs the administration and selection of employee benefit programs which are cost effective and in compliance with governmental regulations including group health, life, dental and disability plans, 401K retirement savings and stock options.
Directs the administration of exempt and non-exempt compensation to achieve corporate initiatives and compliance with government compliance.
Designs, develops, and administers effective performance management program to ensure feedback process.
Manages and tracks training programs to effectively support achievement of corporate goals in a cost-effective manner.
Develops an organizational development plan that strategically maps out a succession plan that aligns with the overall corporate goals.
Leads Event Committee and coordinates with marketing on employee communications and company events.
Manages the HRIS system. Ensuring the accuracy of reports and consistency in policies, programs, and benefits.
Maintains a formal working relationship with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as outside relationships with recruiters, employment agencies, colleges and universities, professional associations, brokers, vendors, consultants, and community leaders.
Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking, and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals.
Directs the administration of Occupational Health and Safety consistent with governmental regulations, including OSHA and Workman’s Compensation.
Coordinates the Company’s giving and community relations programs.
Agree to abide by and enforce the established Approval Matrix.
Qualifications:
College degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations, related behavioral science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience desirable.
SHRM Certification a plus.
Three to five years of increasingly responsible human resources managerial experience.
Five to eight years’ experience in a human resources department role.
Three to five years’ experience in the designing and administering of benefit plans.
Experience in the implementation and administration of an HRIS system.
Experience developing, implementing, and administering an effective performance management system and organizational development program.
