Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our Human Resources team at our corporate headquarters in Hammond, Louisiana.

As a key member of our corporate office team, the HRM will oversee daily HR operations, hire, manage and develop the HR Team, and help shape the company's people strategies as we continue to grow. This role requires a proactive and initiative-taking leader who is passionate about employee development, operational excellence, compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development along with the Recruiting Manager and Training Director and their staff members. Teamwork is a must in this family-owned business. The company provides various security services including uniformed security, parking lot patrol and disaster response. Due to the 24-7 nature of the security industry some night, holiday and weekend work may be required. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development.

Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.

Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on service, accuracy and accountability.

Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for HR staff, Corporate Office Staff and Field Management.

Ensure consistent delivery of HR services across the organization.

Fostering a caring culture and creating a work environment of respect and positivity are a must.

Human Resources Operations

Oversee general Human Resources functions for the department and the company.

Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.

Direct termination processes and unemployment claims administration.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Ensure Regulatory Compliance for the licensing of security guards.

Maintain and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Support employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.

Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the HR Department.

Continuously audit the department to ensure company expectations and legal compliance requirements are met.

Strategic HR Support

Partner with field operations management to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workforce issues.

Develop and implement HR best practices that support organizational goals.

Assist with risk management initiatives and organizational compliance programs.

Analyze HR trends and recommend process improvements.

Excellence in customer service.

Systems & Technology

Utilize HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR technologies to support business objectives.

Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.

Leverage technology to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Use data analysis to manage and improve the business.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.

5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.

Multi-location workforce experience.

Experience in a high-volume employment environment.

Required Qualifications

Experience supervising and developing HR staff.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong working knowledge of employment law, legal compliance requirements, and HR best practices.

Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated proficiency in HR Management.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Ability to operate general office equipment.
