PURPOSE
The Senior Graphic Designer & Production Manager is responsible for leading the visual production of VASA Fitness's prospect and member-facing creative across all marketing channels. This is a high-volume, high-impact role accountable for how the brand is represented across email, social and paid media, in-club environments, and digital platforms.
VASA's creative agency establishes campaign concepts, visual direction, and design systems. This role is responsible for translating that direction into high-quality, production-ready assets across all channels. Success in this position requires the ability to accurately interpret creative intent, maintain consistency at scale, and deliver assets that meet both brand and functional marketing needs.
This role requires deep expertise in production design across digital and physical formats. The Senior Graphic Designer & Production Manager must be able to work within established creative systems, uphold quality under tight timelines, and execute with precision while adapting creative for different formats and environments.
The position reports to the Director of Brand and will eventually manage one Junior Graphic Designer. It is responsible for overseeing day-to-day work allocation, maintaining output quality, and supporting the professional development of the direct report, in addition to individual contributions. This position will also work closely with our creative agency, ensuring creative consistency of campaigns across all channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND COMPETENCIES
Multi-Channel Creative Production
Produce high-volume, prospect- and member-facing creative across digital and physical channels, including email, paid media, websites, in-club signage, internal screens, and digital platforms
Translate campaign concepts, visual direction, and established design systems into production-ready assets
Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all deliverables while upholding brand standards
Adapt creative for channel-specific requirements, including mobile-first design, responsive layouts, platform specifications, and print production needs
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality under tight deadlines
Website & Landing Page Design
Design and optimize website pages, landing pages, and digital experiences that support brand, marketing, and conversion goals
Collaborate with marketing, CRM, and development teams to create user-friendly and visually engaging web experiences
Apply UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards, and mobile-first design principles
Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints while balancing creative storytelling with performance objectives
Design digital assets and page layouts that educate, engage, and convert users
CRM & Email Creative
Design email campaigns from concept through final production, including promotional sends, lifecycle communications, and member messaging
Apply best practices for hierarchy, readability, responsiveness, and mobile optimization
Deliver creative assets that support both brand standards and campaign performance goals
Ensure email creative is optimized across devices and platforms
Video & Motion Assets
Produce static and motion-based assets for paid media channels, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, display advertising, streaming platforms, and digital out-of-home
Adapt creative to platform-specific formats, specifications, and performance requirements
Design and optimize landing pages that educate users and convert leads
Lead production of short-form video assets, including 15- and 30-second advertisements
Coordinate with internal teams, freelancers, and external partners to deliver final assets
Ensure all deliverables meet brand, technical, and quality standards
In-Club & Digital Signage
Design seasonal and campaign-specific signage for club environments, including window graphics, lobby displays, locker room materials, and branded environmental graphics
Develop creative for internal TV monitor networks, including schedules, promotions, and campaign messaging
Optimize creative for visibility, readability, and engagement within physical and digital environments
Prepare and deliver production-ready files for print and installation
Ensure all signage aligns with campaign objectives and brand standards
Team Leadership
Work collaboratively with VASA's creative agency to ensure alignment and continuity across campaigns and channels
Manage and mentor one Junior Graphic Designer, including prioritization, task assignment, and day-to-day direction
Review deliverables and provide feedback to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards
Support professional development and skill growth of direct reports
Establish and maintain efficient creative production processes and team standards
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within a marketing, brand, or agency environment
Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-volume production or consumer-facing environment preferred
Experience mentoring, leading, or managing junior designers (formal or informal)
Strong portfolio demonstrating work across digital (email, paid media, display, and web) and physical (print, signage, environmental) channels
Experience contributing to or supporting video and motion-based projects
In-house brand experience or agency experience supporting consumer brands preferred
Skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects
Proficiency in Figma for collaboration and design system management
Strong understanding of production specifications across web, digital, print, and video formats
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with or ability to learn digital signage platforms and content management tools

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Physical Strength: Sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 30 pounds.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients.
Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours to assist members and sell services in-person.

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 annually Pay Transparency In order to support the Fair Compensation Strategy by the US Govt., HR Dept., clients are required to adhere to "Pay Transparency Law"; in the impacted states; that have mandated the employers to list the salary ranges in Job advertisements or postings for job opportunities and Job promotions.
