BLD Engineers is an Australian engineering consultancy providing engineering, design, project delivery and commissioning services across the energy, transport, water and infrastructure sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Electrical Engineers with BIM/Revit experience to support major infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
About the Role
You will be involved in the design and coordination of electrical systems for major infrastructure projects, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.
Prepare electrical layouts, equipment arrangements and installation drawings.
Produce coordinated 3D models and construction documentation.
Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical and architectural disciplines.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection.
Ensure designs comply with client standards and Australian Standards.
Support project delivery from concept through detailed design.
About You
To be successful you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical engineering.
Experience using Autodesk Revit (MEP).
Experience preparing electrical design documentation.
Experience working in BIM environments.
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
Highly Regarded
Experience in substations, transmission, renewable energy, buildings or major infrastructure projects.
Experience using Navisworks, BIM 360 or ACC.
Knowledge of Australian Standards.
Australian project experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

This Other role pays $75k-$100k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in Australia.
