Restaurant Supervisor / Senior Waiter

Jane Surry Hills is looking for a supervisor / senior waiter to join our team!

Jane is a neighbourhood bar and restaurant in Surry Hills serving only Australian ingredients, we push the boundaries and showcase how amazing what we have right on our door-step really is.

With a small team we all work together to elevate the guests' experience, and have time for some fun during service too.

We have a strong focus on guest experience and providing a positive environment to let our staff thrive.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a supervisor to join the team, this is a casual role offering 25-35 hours per week.

The responsibilities of the position include:

support our managers and assist in leading and developing a strong and well-established FOH team

Assisting the managers with opening and closing the restaurants

Maintain an exceptional level of service.

Have a confident level of knowledge in wines/spirits/cocktails and contribute and elevate the development of our beverage offering

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that the level of customer service is consistently in line with our standards.

Provide feedback to the managers regarding rostering requirements, staff issues, customer feedback

REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience within restaurants/bars - the ideal candidate would have experience as an established waiter, however we would also provide training for someone who has an interest in learning

Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop staff

Sound level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
