Park Orchards Kindergarten (POK) is located in a beautiful leafy setting, on Wurundjeri Country in North East Melbourne, and provides children with opportunities to explore and develop through a play-based program. We have fabulous spacious facilities and generous play focused outdoor areas. At POK, we have a strong emphasis on supporting and developing relationships between the child, family, staff and wider community. Our Kindergarten is a community managed centre, operated by a dedicated Committee of Management. The staff team is passionate about the education and care of children and seeks a like-minded diploma educator to join our 4YO team to deliver a high-quality educational program for our children. We are looking for an experienced Diploma Educator to provide break cover for our 4 Year Old Team at Park Orchards Kindergarten. Start date to be negotiated. The successful applicant will be passionate about early childhood education and have a sound understanding of child development and the VEYLDF/EYLF have excellent organisational and communication skills with children, families, staff, committee and members of the community work collaboratively as part of a team demonstrate knowledge of child-safe practice conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Kindergarten policies and the Kindergarten Funding Guide be committed to ongoing professional learning and development

The successful applicant will hold a Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care and a current employee Working with Children Check a current Police Check current First Aid qualifications (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management) current Mandatory Reporting and National Child Safety Training
