Role Summary: As a Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Developer with 3-5 years of experience, you
will design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce platform that extend Sales
Cloud and Service Cloud beyond declarative capabilities. You will build robust Apex and Lightning
Web Component solutions, integrate Salesforce with external systems, and follow platform best
practices for security, performance, and maintainability. This role demands strong programming
fundamentals, a solid grasp of Salesforce governor limits and architecture, and close collaboration
with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and unit test custom solutions using Apex (triggers, classes, batch,
queueable, scheduled) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Extend Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionality where declarative tools are insufficient,
following the clicks-before-code principle.
Build and consume REST/SOAP integrations to connect Salesforce with external systems,
using Platform Events and asynchronous patterns where appropriate.
Develop responsive, reusable UI components with LWC/Aura and Visualforce for Sales and
Service Console experiences.
Write efficient SOQL/SOSL and design data models that respect Salesforce governor limits
and performance best practices.
Implement and maintain automated tests to achieve high code coverage and ensure reliable
deployments.
Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain technical
documentation.
Manage source-driven development using Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Copado,
Gearset, or Jenkins).
Deploy solutions across sandboxes and production using change sets or automated release
tools.
Collaborate with functional consultants, admins, and QA to translate requirements into
technical designs.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business
operations.
Adhere to Salesforce security best practices, including CRUD/FLS enforcement and secure
coding.
Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on Sales
Cloud and Service Cloud.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Visualforce.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, governor limits, and asynchronous
processing.
Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP web service integrations.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and CI/CD deployment
tools.
Solid grasp of the Salesforce security model and secure coding practices (CRUD, FLS,
sharing).
Experience writing robust unit tests and achieving high, meaningful code coverage.
Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum team.
Preferred Skills:
Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or Application Architect certifications.
Experience with Service Cloud features such as Omni-Channel, CTI/Open CTI, and Lightning
Knowledge from a development perspective.
Experience with MuleSoft or other middleware/integration platforms.
Familiarity with Experience Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, or CRM Analytics development.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS for advanced UI development.
