Occupational Therapist (OT)

An exciting opportunity to join our progressive, passionate MDT.

NEDRC is a small service working with clients who have a diagnosis of an eating disorder/ disordered eating and co-occurring mental health issues such as low mood, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders (complex PTSD). A number of our clients are neurodivergent and work very well within our small, person-centred service.

We work with adolescents and adults across out-patients, day and residential (inpatient) programmes. While adhering to the Mental Health Commission regulations as an Approved Centre, we aim to provide more of a therapeutic environment rather than a clinical, sterile one.

We are looking for a candidate that possess the following:

Be CORU registered or have registration pending (must demonstrate proof) as an Occuptional Therapist

Have experience/ be comfortable with facilitating occupation based and psycho-education sessions

Have experience/ be comfortable of working with clients with mental ill-health concerns

A practical, flexible, warm approach

An interest and commitment to progress both professionally (CPD, etc) and progress with clients and the service as a whole
