We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Training & Competency.

In this role you will:

Lead end-to-end Training & Competency (T&C) delivery which includes:

Coordinating annual competency assessments; Conducting regular competency reviews; Verifying educational qualifications;

Managing mandatory training and CPD requirements, ensuring alignment with relevant rules and regulations; Conducting training relating to T&C and Supervisory responsibilities

Reviewing and updating Rules & Regulations and Ethics modules for core CPD modules accreditation

Responding to queries raised by stakeholders (audit, compliance, risk, regulators)

Partner with key stakeholders (Compliance, Risk & Governance, Channels) to identify and close performance or conduct gaps highlighted through customer complaints, BSC insights, and mystery shopping outcomes.

Manage sales advisory standards (updating of sales manual), ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the implementation of sales advisory systems to embed these standards while enabling business growth.

Compile data for reporting purposes.

To be successful you will need:

Demonstrated Training & Competency experience within the financial planning sector, supported by relevant industry certifications (i.e. M5, M9, M9A, HI, M8, M8A)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively

Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders
