Industrial Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and installation of production machinery, infrastructure, and facility systems. Your primary focus will be to bolster plant productivity by identifying and resolving technical problems, reducing operational interruptions, and guaranteeing that all equipment remains dependable.

Core Duties

Identify and fix malfunctions related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Carry out routine maintenance tasks and necessary equipment fixes

Set up, service, and mend various machinery, electrical units, and piping networks

Determine the underlying reasons for machine breakdowns to help improve long-term equipment reliability

Utilize machining equipment like grinders, mills, and lathes to create or restore components

Provide general upkeep for the facility and its structural elements

Complete assigned maintenance tasks and contribute to ongoing operational enhancements

Document all maintenance activities and progress within the CMMS platform

Work alongside the reliability team to manage spare parts and inventory levels effectively

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Completion of high school or a GED equivalent

A minimum of five years working in industrial maintenance, covering both electrical and mechanical systems

Desired Qualifications:

A technical degree or associate level certification

Prior background working within industrial or manufacturing settings

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and climb

Capable of performing tasks within tight spaces and across the production floor

Must be able to lift weights up to 50 lbs

Proficiency in handling powered industrial machinery

Standard visual and auditory capabilities, including the ability to distinguish colors
