Mission:

As Design for Safety and Reliability (DfSR) Practitioner, you are responsible for practicing and applying design reliability and robustness processes, tools, and software across several Squads to ensure that Schneider Electric products and solutions are designed to be safe, robust and reliable. Working closely with Marketing and Engineering Teams, you set work priorities and provide guidance to other professionals. You foster a quality mindset within the team, and coordinate design and industrialization quality activities for new product introduction.

Main Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as a quality reference for new product Design (Safety and Reliability).

Influence and mobilize cross-functional, multicultural teams.

You are skilled in project coordination and reporting.

Support continuous improvement of quality methods, standards, and practices.

Design for Safety and Reliability (DfSR)

Build the adoption of the key stakeholders on the business' DfSR of their squads.

Assess and identify the critical elements of the offer at design level (system, subsystem, assembly, component).

Put together the key drivers of a logical DfSR risk assessment plan based on the risk level for the offer from safety, robustness and reliability perspective.

Develop, execute, and report DfSR plans on a regular basis, animating quality reviews.

Train and coach design engineering community with DfSR training, methods and tools

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or Electronics of Firmware Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics (higher degrees especially in Reliability engineering are preferred).

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or quality field.

Experience in Design for Reliability (DfSS, DfSR).

Experience in electromechanical system power management, electronics, is highly preferred.

Experience working in an agile product development environment.

Technical Skills

CTQ definition from VOC (voice of customer), AHP, QFD.

P-diagram.

Design FMEA, FTA.

Design optimization with DOE.

Tolerancing experience is a plus (Worst case analysis, RSS, Monte Carlo Simulation).

Statistical and reliability tools (Minitab, Reliasoft, JASP).

Problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Whys).

Software: Reliasoft, Jama, Minitab, JASP, CETOL.

Certifications (preferred)

Design for Six Sigma.

Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), ISO9001.

Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) at minimum or internally certified Reliability expert.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and animation skills.

Coaching and training capability.

Customer-oriented and analytical mindset.

Ability to manage change and work in multicultural environments.

Languages & Mobility

Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Location : Schneider Electric Spain, Puente La Reina (20 min from Pamplona).

Driving license.
