Electrician - Christchurch

We’re looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Energy & Utilities team based in Christchurch . In this hands ‑ on role, you’ll be working across construction, maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification of electrical network assets that keep communities powered and connected.

What We’re Looking For | Ngā pūkenga matua

We’re seeking a motivated, safety ‑ focused electrician who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys working in a hands ‑ on field environment. You’ll bring:

A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification with current registration and practising licence

A full driver licence

Experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding

Knowledge of network assets such as substations, transformers and switchgear

Confidence using electrical test equipment and following established procedures

A strong commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices

A reliable, team ‑ focused approach with a customer ‑ first mindset

Physical capability to carry out hands ‑ on field work

New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency

You’ll work closely with supervisors, project managers, field crews, clients and customers to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
