Job Description

This is a temporary position with an expected assignment duration of approximately one year, ending in September 2027.

Job Summary

Leads daily yard operations to ensure safe and efficient vehicle flow, on-time shipping, and damage prevention. This role is responsible for team coordination, process discipline, vehicle protection, and continuous improvement across the yard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily yard operations, vehicle flow, space utilization, and shipping execution.

Lead operators, supervisors, and service providers to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.

Enforce standardized work, audits, and vehicle protection practices to prevent damage and mutilation.

Identify high-risk activities, remove unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions before defects occur.

Coordinate with logistics, quality, maintenance, and production to solve problems and sustain improvements.

Train and coach, the team on safe handling, process compliance, and damage prevention.

Track KPIs, audit results, and action plans to improve performance and reduce DRR and warranty impact.

Requirements

Experience in yard operations, logistics, shipping, or automotive manufacturing.

Leadership experience with hourly teams, supervisors, or third-party providers.

Strong skills in safety, quality, problem solving, and operational control.

Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive manufacturing experience.

Knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, automation tools, or programming languages.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field)

Equivalent training in logistics, manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations management.

Required Qualifications:

- English Intermediate - Advanced.

Available to change shifts (4x3 and 5x2).

Minimum of 1 year of experience

Knowledge of Quality Systems, Control Plans, quality specifications, and product acceptance/rejection criteria.

Ability to analyze operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
