Sr Supply Planner

The position serves as a business subject matter expert for planning processes, partnering with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, IT, Finance, and Master Data teams to define standards, troubleshoot process issues, support users, and improve governance around planning settings.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience in supply chain planning , materials management, production planning, inventory management, master data management, SAP business processes, or closely related field. – Project management / Oil or Chemical background is preferred.

Strong SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA planning process experience

Strong understanding of MRP concepts and planning parameter impacts.

Experience supporting availability, order promising, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, or planning execution processes.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with strong cross-functional supply chain process knowledge.

WE VALUE

SAP S/4HANA implementation or testing experience.

Experience with ATP, advanced ATP, availability checking, allocations, planning strategies, or order promising processes.

SAP MM, PP, SD, or integrated planning process exposure.

Power BI, SQL, or data analytics background.

APICS / ASCM certification, Lean / Six Sigma experience, or experience supporting global organizations.

MRP and Planning Parameter Governance

Serve as planning SME for MRP-related fields, planning parameters, lead times, lot sizing, planning strategies, safety stock, procurement settings, and replenishment controls.

Define, maintain, and improve standards for planning settings across sites, businesses, or process areas.

Analyze how settings influence supply proposals, exception messages, planned orders, purchase requisitions, inventory projections, and execution decisions.

ATP and Availability Process Support

Support governance and troubleshooting of ATP planning settings and availability-related process issues.

Partner with planning, customer operations, manufacturing, procurement, and IT teams to resolve availability, confirmation, and allocation-related issues.

Document business rules, ownership, decision logic, and exception handling for ATP-related settings and process flows.

Data Quality and Process Improvement

Monitor planning data health and process compliance metrics.

Identify root causes of inaccurate planning outputs or availability signals.

Lead corrective and preventive action to reduce recurring planning issues.

Develop dashboards, trackers, or reviews to communicate issue trends, aging, and resolution progress.

SAP S/4HANA Enablement

Support future-state process design, data cleansing, testing, validation, and deployment readiness for MRP and ATP-related planning processes.

Partner with IT and business teams to ensure planning settings and governance are aligned with future SAP operating models.
