Freelance Videographer/Editor

Living Your Joy - The Art and Science of Yoga, Breath, and Meditation is seeking a talented freelance videographer to capture high-quality visual content rooted in movement, healing, mindfulness, and human performance.

This is an opportunity to collaborate on a thoughtfully developed wellness brand led by an experienced educator and practitioner. We're looking for someone who appreciates clean, cinematic visuals and authentic storytelling.

Initial Assignment:

Date: Saturday, August 15

Location: San Rafael, CA

Duration: Approximately 8-10 hours

Compensation: $600 for the shoot day

Optional Editing: $45/hour (if selected to edit the footage)

This project may lead to additional freelance opportunities as new courses, testimonials, and marketing content are produced.

What You'll Be Filming

The shoot will include a variety of content, including:

Educational and instructional videos

Brand and lifestyle footage

B-roll of movement and teaching

Responsibilities

Capture professional-quality video with strong composition, lighting, and audio

Work collaboratively with the founder to execute the creative vision

Help create a relaxed, efficient filming environment

Organize and deliver raw footage after the shoot

(Optional) Edit footage into polished videos for online courses and marketing

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

Skilled in videography with a strong visual eye

Experienced with lighting and audio capture

Professional, dependable, and organized

Easy to work with and open to creative collaboration

Comfortable taking direction while offering thoughtful ideas

Equipment is available if needed, although applicants with their own professional gear are encouraged.

Preferred

Experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software

Basic color correction and audio enhancement skills

Experience creating content for online education, wellness, or lifestyle brands
