As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive vehicles directly at job sites. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery at various job sites.

Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.

Conduct welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment components.

Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or replace parts on industrial machinery.

Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on repair progress and ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for accurate reporting.

Experience

Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and heavy equipment maintenance.

Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems such as Caterpillar or other industrial equipment brands.

Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, or farm machinery is advantageous.

Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex machinery is essential.

Skilled in welding, fabrication, and the use of power tools for repairs or modifications.

Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.
