WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / FORKLIFT OPERATER

PMC Logistics is a full-service, growing company specializing in ambient, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse storage and distribution services, located in Delta, BC. We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver to join our team.

Position Summary

The Forklift Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting a number of operational components within the warehouse. This individual will work in various temperatures including room temperature, cooler (1-3 C) and the freezer (-23 C). All safety and warming gear will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Duties as described, included but not limited to the following:

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately

Pick, pack, sort, and stage products for outgoing orders

Load and unload containers, trailers, and trucks

Palletize and organize products to meet customer and operational requirements

Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all handling and documentation

Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment

Follow all company, provincial, and federal health and safety regulations, including CFIA and HACCP protocols

Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and product checks

Work effectively in temperature-controlled environments (ambient to -23°C)

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred

Valid forklift certification or equivalent hands-on experience required

Experience operating equipment such as sit-down counterbalance, slip sheet, clamp, or stand-up forklifts is an asset; willingness to learn is essential

Experience in cold storage environments is an asset

Ability to lift up to 50+lbs when required

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Knowledge and Skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good organizational and time management skills

Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Safety-focused mindset with strict adherence to procedures and protocols

Schedule: 8 hour shift beginning either at 7 am or 10 am (set time can be discussed upon hiring). Must be okay with working some overtime, on occasion, and one 4 hour (OT) Sunday shift, on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.50 per hour
