We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Governance and Control Analyst
In this role, you will:
Own, maintain, and enhance core governance trackers and MI (e.g. overdue items, initiative actions, data quality items), ensuring data integrity and timely escalation of breaches.
Coordinate stakeholder responses for governance/control initiatives; challenge inputs where appropriate, analyse themes, and present clear conclusions, risks, and recommended actions.
Provide ad hoc support to change initiatives/projects impacting Product Control governance and reporting (e.g., process redesign, tooling, control enhancements), including requirements input, UAT, and implementation readiness, as capacity allows.
Identify and deliver process improvements (including automation/AI where suitable) to reduce operational risk, improve control effectiveness, and shorten cycle times; track and report realised benefits.
Partner with Global & Regional counterparts to provide transparent status updates, clear hand-offs and proactive communication of risks, issues, and dependencies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across and outside Product Control (e.g. Finance NFR, Internal Audit), supporting effective governance outcomes.
Ensure adherence to control standards, audit readiness, and timely closure of findings/actions.
Builds strong cross-location partnerships, communicating proactively and collaborating to resolve issues and deliver shared outcomes
To be successful you will:
Proven knowledge of risk and control frameworks and governance routines; able to identify, assess, and escalate issues with appropriate remediation.
Strong analytical capability (quantitative and qualitative), including root-cause investigation, trend analysis, and clear synthesis of insights for senior stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce concise executive commentary and influence stakeholders across locations
Sound judgement and structured problem-solving, able to think laterally and balance control discipline with pragmatic delivery.
Strong delivery focus with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines, and maintain quality under pressure.
Product Control/Valuation Control experience preferred (or broader Finance Control/Reporting experience); knowledge of markets products and valuation concepts is beneficial.
Post Graduate Qualification (ACA, MBA Finance, CFA or equivalent ) is considered beneficial
