Practical Trainee - Power Management (m/f/d)
Location: Stäfa, Switzerland
Fulltime, 6 Months

As a Power Management Trainee, you will support the development and verification of the technologies that power our hearing instruments and chargers, helping us deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that make a real difference in people's everyday lives.
What you'll do
Perform experiments to evaluate battery runtime, power consumption, and charging performance in real-world usage scenarios
Build, calibrate, maintain, and improve test setups and measurement systems for battery and power-management verification
Develop and execute automated test scripts and verification frameworks
Verify the performance of battery and power management systems in hearing devices and chargers
Analyze measurement data, create visualizations, and prepare technical reports
Troubleshoot test equipment and continuously improve testing processes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on power electronics, charger integration, and system-level investigations
What you bring
Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Basic programming skills in Python. MATLAB or C are a plus
Interest in automation, testing, verification, and engineering problem-solving.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work with technical data and measurements
Experience with battery management systems, power electronics, embedded systems, laboratory equipment, or Li-ion batteries is a plus
Fluency in English
