About the role

Home Farm is seeking motivated and compassionate Social Care Workers to join our team.

There are full-time posts of 36 hours per week available, with part-time hours also considered.

The role is central to delivering person-centred care and support to residents within the care home.

Main duties include:

Delivery of high quality person-centred care.

Act as a key-worker for residents, supporting assessment, planning and review of care.

Lead shifts as required.

Administer medication in line with NHS policies

Support and promote independence.

Essential Requirements:

SVQ Level 2 in Social Care (or equivalent) and eligibility for SSSC registration

Commitment to achieving SVQ Level 3

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage responsibility as a shift lead

Flexibility to work a rota, including day and night shifts
