DWF is seeking a highly motivated Solicitor to join our market-leading Finance Litigation team in Manchester.

The successful candidate will provide advice and assistance across a range of finance litigation matters, including asset and consumer finance.

Whilst the team operates as a nationally structured team supporting the wider DWF regional offices throughout the UK,

The role is based in Manchester, with a flexible, hybrid working approach.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of finance litigation matters under partner supervision.

Provide advice and assistance on asset and consumer finance claims.

Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and networking.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

A qualified Solicitor or equivalent.

A sound knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and associated regulations would be preferred.

A sound knowledge of The Civil Procedure Rules 1998

Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a caseload.

The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data.

Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
