Engine Field Service Technician - Level I

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team, specialising in field-based engine diagnostics, repair and maintenance within our Distribution Business Unit (DBU) organisation in Maestra, Sweden.

Working hours: 7.00 am - 4.00 pm

Work conditions: 100% on customer sites

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and basic repair activities on Cummins engines and related components at customer sites.

Diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues using approved service procedures, electronic diagnostic tools, and specialized equipment.

Prepare required parts, tools, and equipment to complete service activities efficiently and safely.

Validate repairs by confirming successful resolution of customer concerns.

Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to senior Field Service Technicians or Supervisors.

Champion a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible workplace by following Health, Safety and Environmental standards and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Technician qualification or a vocational diploma in a relevant technical discipline.

Completed technical training (e.g., Engine Technician, Automotive Technician, or a comparable qualification) is preferred.

Initial hands-on field service experience and solid knowledge of engine systems.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for service assignments.

Strong customer focus with a reliable and service-oriented working style.

Fluent level of English and Swedish.
