XT Full Stack Developer

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Full Stack Software Developer responsible for back-end and front-end solutions, 508 compliance, user interface construction, API construction and system interfacing.

Design, construct, test, maintain, enhance, upgrade and modify solutions for a large, Cloud-based, Enterprise Cross Domain Service (ECDS) system.

Analyze and assist in defining customer requirements to determine the most effective solutions to satisfy their need.

Design, create, test, and maintain software, content solutions, and web-based applications to satisfy customer requirements.

Adhere to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications (e.g., software reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant).

Support software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems).

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

TS/SCI clearance

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university with a concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience working on IT technical teams as a Software Engineer/Developer.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience with COTS customization, Cross Domain solutions, Cloud-based SaaS development, and software design and testing.

Knowledge of software architecture, software development, software quality assurance, and software engineering principles.

Ability to write high-quality code using technologies such as HTML, Java, XML, NodeJS, JSON, C++, Apache Storm, ELK, and GitLab.

Experience developing and deploying Cloud-based solutions.

Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and debugging of complex solutions.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including at least one (1) year of experience working on an Agile team.

Experience with JIRA or similar project and configuration management tools.

Understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements and U.S. Government security compliance standards.

Ability to follow formal design processes and create technical artifacts such as specifications, data flow diagrams, wireframes, and feature documentation.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
