AIOps Engineer

Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring an AI Ops Engineer with an active Secret clearance to implement artificial intelligence and automation capabilities within IT operations to improve monitoring, incident response, predictive analytics, and system reliability. This role is based in Arlington, VA, as a hybrid/remote position.

Responsibilities:

Deploy AI-driven monitoring and operational intelligence solutions.

Develop automation for incident detection, response, and remediation.

Analyze operational data to identify patterns and predict failures.

Implement event correlation and anomaly detection.

Integrate AI tools with ITSM platforms.

Reduce alert fatigue through intelligent automation.

Build dashboards and operational analytics.

Improve system availability and performance through AI insights.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's with 12+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience:

5–10 years of hands-on experience in IT operations and cloud environments

Proficiency with AIOps platforms for automating IT operations

Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications in IT

Experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic

Expertise in ServiceNow ITOM for IT operations management

Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and data processing

Proven ability in data analytics to drive operational insights

Solid knowledge of cloud operations and best practices and automation frameworks

Preferred Skills and Experience:

AI/ML certifications preferred

Cloud certifications

ITIL Foundation

Splunk/Dynatrace certifications beneficial

Clearance Required: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to attain DEA suitability.

Posted Salary Range: USD $220,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.
