General Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Experience in Supply Planning and Vendor Collaboration. Experience in FMCG Sector preferred.

Oversee and mentor the Planning Group to ensure a high level of proficiency and development.

Create level loaded Master Production Schedule while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

Ensure a consistent handoff of planning information to the production via the Material Planner(s)

Identify and manage bottlenecks and capacity issues with the Production Management team, co-ordinate internally and externally the resolution of the issues'

'Establish and monitor ERP system parameters, including safety stock levels for finished goods and raw material inventories.'

Experience in leading team of Supply Planning experts (Production & Capacity Planning)

Experience in participating in S&OP Meetings.

Experience in handling customer communication and acted as single point of contact for issue resoutions

Hands on experience of working on planning tools like APO and ERP execution tools like ECC.

Good understanding of planning methodologies like heuristics, optimization etc

Deep expertize understanding of analyzing planning result output and scenario planning.

Deep understanding of planning master data and its impact on plan quality.

Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification)

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (IIT, IT-BHU, REC, DCE, BITS & Tier 1 Engineering Colleges preferred)

MBA Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred)

Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable)

Experience Requirements

8-12 years on supply planning of which minimum 2-4 years is team management

Hands on experience in SAP APO planning books (preferred)

Hands on experience of working with an ERP tool (preferably SAP ECC)

Good understanding of reporting tools like SAP BI (nice to have)

Good understanding of collaboration tools like SAP SNC (nice to have)

Working knowledge of Tableau Platform

Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills

Comprehensive skills in query/reporting tools, spreadsheet applications and presentations
