We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager in Brazil. The Engineering Manager will lead the Engineering function, ensuring safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of engineering services, while developing technical capability, supporting business growth and maintaining compliance with company standards.
The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Duties
Ensure engineering activities comply with company policies, ISO management systems and applicable regulatory requirements
Provide technical leadership for offshore mooring, installation, inspection, maintenance and decommissioning projects
Support tendering, proposal preparation, project reviews and technical risk assessments
Work closely with Operations, Commercial, QHSE and Project Management to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget
Develop engineering procedures, standards and lessons learned
Manage engineering resources and specialist subcontractors
Lead, develop and retain a high-performing engineering team through recruitment, coaching, succession planning and performance management
Support strategic growth initiatives and client engagement
Drive continuous improvement, digitalization and engineering excellence
Promote a strong safety culture and visible leadership
Required
Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering with relevant professional registration (CREA or equivalent)
8+ years of moorings engineering experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams
Experience in offshore energy, subsea, mooring systems or marine operations
Fluent in English – reading, writing, and speaking
Advanced Microsoft Office; MS Project, Orcaflex
Knowledge of project management, engineering standards and risk management
