Events Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract – 3 Months)

The Marine Hotel in Sutton is a well-established seaside hotel known for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent customer service, and beautiful coastal location. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team and help deliver outstanding hospitality experiences for our guests in a friendly and professional environment.

Role Overview

The events Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the hotel , ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities, client communications, and events. This role is ideal for an organised, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can efficiently manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to the hotel.

Prepare proposals, contracts, quotations, and client correspondence.

Respond promptly to events enquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members.

Maintain accurate customer records within the hotel's CRM and property management systems.

Coordinate site inspections, client visits, and familiarisation trips.

Liaise with Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Assist in coordinating corporate bookings, group reservations, meetings, and events.

Monitoring events leads and ensure timely follow-up.

Support the preparation of presentations, promotional materials, and marketing initiatives.

Assist with database management and maintaining client contact information.

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.

Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the General Manager.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience, ideally within hospitality, hotels, or sales.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

High level of attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
