Position: Application Functional Support

Responsibilities

Direct responsibilities

. Provide business support and guidance to stakeholders, leveraging product knowledge and application support expertise

. Manage and resolve functional incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and providing timely resolutions

. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve functional issues.

. Apply ITIL principles and incident management best practices to ensure efficient and effective issue resolution

. Test and simulate business processes and applications to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance

. Provide support and guidance to business users, addressing queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Contributing responsibilities

. Team player

. Effectively communicate work and delivery status

. Open to adaptation of new technology, learning and implementation within the project.

. Ensure delivery timelines are met while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Technical & Behavioral competencies

. 8 10 years of professional experience in Application support and functional incident management.

. In depth product knowledge, with a proven track record of addressing complex business queries in a regulated industry (banking, payments, fintech).

. Monitoring, troubleshooting Mobile and Web applications.

. Solution management – business use case clarification with the technology exposure.

. Functional support experience, with the ability to resolve business related issues.

. Application monitoring and troubleshooting skills

. Linux, application monitoring tools exposure – Beginner level

. Exposure in applying ITIL principles

. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

. Proficient in analytical skills

Specific qualifications

. 8 10 years of relevant professional experience along with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Other Skills:

Agile methodology exposure

Knowledge of banking products is a nice to have

Proactive mindset

Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
